The Centre has pumped in over Rs 2,700 crore to build the basic infrastructure in the 22.5 square kilometres of the SIR (activation area) that is facing significant delays in implementation.
The construction of infrastructure in the activation area of the Dholera SIR (Special Investment Region) in Ahmedabad district is nearing completion and the process of allotment of land to industries have also begun, said Gujarat Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel Tuesday as he virtually participated in the second meeting of the Apex Committee of the National Industrial Corridor Development Programme (NICDP).
The CM also expressed confidence in the progress of the development of Dholera SIR.
